Atelier Iris 4 : Mana Khemia - Alchemists of Al-Revis

The fourth game of atelier iris, the third one I played (I skipped the second one), well, short opinion, the game is great. It's improved with a lot of new systems, new items synthesize system (although only for the non weapon items), new growth book system - very similar to FFXII "level up" system, role play system (where the other team members can automatically gather or synthesize items or level up).

Well... I do dislike the growth book, it kinda limited myself from being over powerful, so kinda no point of leveling up, the monsters are still difficult. The class vs free time system also limit your movement, you could skip/miss a lot of events (similar to events in FFIX), thus have to replay the game (luckily there is a new game + after finishing the game).

The story, so far still so-so, a Harry Potter-like story, Vayne, the main character is the son of the most well known-famous alchemist, and without knowledge of his father, he is invited to the academy of alchemist - al-ravis. Then he met a lot of friends that shared same workshop, etc.

The dungeon is more complicated with lesser user friendly map. The monsters design is about the same with the prequels. Pamela - the ghost, is reappearing as a playable character now.

Well yea, at least this is one game that is enjoyable, especially the new synthesize system *perhaps*.

Keroro Set

Ok... I bought another playground set, this time is keroro (ケロロアイランドであります), I don't know wth keroro is, never watch the anime, and so on. One day I walked to this shop and I accidentally found the set, and it's complete, so I just bought 2 sets (in different shops of course).

The set is much better than the pokemon set I previously bought. Hmm what should I say, the set just has a lot of secret compartments, and yea, it's neat.

Sam & Max 205 - What's New, Beelzebub?

The latest episode of Sam & Max, which is also the season finale for season 2, is just perfect, nice and great. Apart from the excitement of playing a cartoon instead of mere watching it of course. Anyway, the story continues where the last episode left off. And if you remember all the story from the previous episodes, you'll be thrilled to know that the creator/designer/plot writer really know what they are doing and really take that time traveling scenarios into consideration.

*contains spoilers*

Anyway this episode will reveal many things. And sorry to disappoint you but this episode doesn't include superball at all. But you'll be rejoiced by Hugh Bliss or Brady Culture for example, or see how comical the satan and the hell is.

Don't worry about superball since all the other recurring characters are there as well, Bosco, Momma Bosco, Flint, Stinky, Grandpa Stinky, Mr. Featherly, the COPS, Mr. Spatula, Jimmy, Abe and Sybill. And this time Sam & Max also get more places to explore (compared to the previous episodes), although mostly are the same old places.

Oh yea I did mention about time traveling. In the episode 1, Sam & Max went to the future to help themselves, and also in the previous episode, episode 4, they met their past or semi future selves, and yea, it can be quite confusing.

And without giving more spoilers, you'll get to know who is the big boss of evil in this season, and it will be the least thing you'll ever thought *hint hint*.

If you play Sam & Max before, or a big fan, or going to play it, you'll going to enjoy it :)

Persona 3 & Persona Trinity Soul 15

Persona 3 FES is coming this April, I really can't wait for the excitement, and perhaps for the upcoming Persona 4 as well (too bad I have to wait for a long time for the subs). And while watching the raw version of persona trinity soul ep 15 after skipping some episodes, well the voice figure does come out in the episode.

*spoilers*

Saint Seiya - Elysion

With the new OAV release, new toys are being released as well. I've bought myself Thanatos, one of the biggest SSMyth Cloth so far. And well.. decorating my office desk with expensive collection surely invites a lot of questions.

Thanatos :

Mugenbine Pharaoh

As stated in below post, I have a new collection in my toys line, mugenbine (ムゲンバイン - ムゲン語神獣). It's a power ranger robot alike.

There's quite a lot of mugenbine toys, they go by themes, and the one I bought is the pharaoh/egyptian themed. Basically the big robot - Pharaoh, consists of 5 small robots that combined into 1, they are Anubis, Sphinks, Ra, Sobek and Scorpion.

What make them so good? It's the combination thing that is only limited to one's creativity and of course the toy joints. In other words, they can be combined to different forms, not limited to one form.

Anubis :

The dog headed anubis armed with a staff (Set?).

Sphinks :

The tomb of pharaoh, lion/cat with head of human. The figures also includes a small pharaoh, and also can be put inside of the Sphinx.

Ra :

Bird, nothing much.

Scorpion :

Scorpion, nothing much, and I love how the tail can be posed.

Sobek :

Crocodile, nothing much.

Pharaoh :

The normal form.

Normal form, with different pose.

Normal vs winged form.

Behind look.

Side look.

See the staff differences.

The chain can be combined to morning star. And the right pic is also different.

Some other new forms.

I got those idea from links below

Another set of different forms.

I'm not being creative -_-.

Weird combination (taken from random sites)

Combined with another mugenbine set

Final comment : I would still like the last (pharaoh) mugenbine series compared to the previous releases because they still look like blocks and lego... for example the 4 beast (suzaku, byako, shiryu, genbu) : http://www.geocities.jp/hetare_d_max/gallery-MB_4SaintBeast.html
