Atelier Iris 4 : Mana Khemia - Alchemists of Al-Revis

The fourth game of atelier iris, the third one I played (I skipped the second one), well, short opinion, the game is great. It's improved with a lot of new systems, new items synthesize system (although only for the non weapon items), new growth book system - very similar to FFXII "level up" system, role play system (where the other team members can automatically gather or synthesize items or level up).

Well... I do dislike the growth book, it kinda limited myself from being over powerful, so kinda no point of leveling up, the monsters are still difficult. The class vs free time system also limit your movement, you could skip/miss a lot of events (similar to events in FFIX), thus have to replay the game (luckily there is a new game + after finishing the game).

The story, so far still so-so, a Harry Potter-like story, Vayne, the main character is the son of the most well known-famous alchemist, and without knowledge of his father, he is invited to the academy of alchemist - al-ravis. Then he met a lot of friends that shared same workshop, etc.

The dungeon is more complicated with lesser user friendly map. The monsters design is about the same with the prequels. Pamela - the ghost, is reappearing as a playable character now.

Well yea, at least this is one game that is enjoyable, especially the new synthesize system *perhaps*.
